Kupolen's and Dala Dansstudio's cooperation has evolved over the years from only including dance performances to also including on-site event crew. This year, twenty-two dancers aged 4-56 put on a dance and fashion show that reflected the wide dance spectrum of children’s, couples’, group, social and competitive dance. At the same time, the shops were given an opportunity to display their spring arrivals

Last year's success was repeated when the event Vålerenga TakeOver took place in Oslo City. Children, youth and other fans were invited to meet their heroes - football players from both the men's and women's teams, a stage show was arranged, competitions, and a quiz with great prizes. The host was the well-known influencer Arman adn Tippen, Vålerenga's mascot, also showed up at the event.

Steen & Strøm has published thE Annual Report 2023. The company’s portfolio has to a wide extent resisted the consequences of economic volatility and uncertainty during 2023, with average retailer sales increasing by 7 percent, slightly above average inflation, and indexation. The relatively strong sales performances are driven by Emporia in Sweden and Oslo City in Norway.

Our CSR commitment involves expanding our offering to include more sustainable consumption options, raising awareness, supporting responsible initiatives such as the Spin of Hope in Emporia in collaboration with Team Rynkeby and the collaboration with Bamsehospitalet och Danske Hospitalklovne for the tenth time in Bruuns Galleri. 250 children came to have their teddy bears examined.

Flying Tiger Copenhagen has opened a new and completely renovated store in the Field's shopping center.

Organized for the second time by our Allum shopping center in Partille, Allum Refashion is an initiative promoting reuse and recycling by encouraging the local community and visitors to actively adopt environmentally friendly behavior.

Bastard Burgers has been at Emporia since mid-2020 and opened in the middle of the pandemic. The burger restaurant has been successful so far and has been investing further in their business with the intention to remain for many more years.

Økern is the next, and the only stop in Norway, for the magnificent exhibition about street artist Banksy. The exhibition is another placemaking activity to put Økern - one of the most important development projects for Oslo in modern times- on the map. Økern will become the new urban hub to the east of Oslo.

In Steen & Strøm we continue to develop Oslo City, with over 11 million visitors annually, and consolidate the position as a unique shopping destination in the center of Oslo. Mango, one of Europe's leading fashion brands, is strengthening their position in Denmark with the opening of a store in Bruuns Galleri in Aarhus in the first half of 2024.

We are thrilled to announce that Rusta, with over 50 department stores in Norway, is to open another store, this time in Lørenskog and in Metro Senter. The opening is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024 and is one of several exciting, planned openings ahead.

We are proud to announce that Metro is hosting a Gingerbread Village Exhibition. The exhibition ends with a fantastic auction, "the Krogsveen Lørenskog's gingerbread house auction" where the money raised will be donated to the foundation Erkeengler. Erkeengler is working to ensure that more children and youths in Lørenskog and Rælingen can participate in play and leisure activities, mainly aimed at kids from families facing socio-economic challenges.

Steen & Strøm has signed an agreement with AB Kristianstadsbyggen (ABK - a company fully owned by Kristianstad municipality) for the sale of Galleria Boulevard (Domus 2, excluding the part owned by Kristianstad municipality) in the city center of Kristianstad. The sale is in line with Steen & Strøm's strategy to optimize the shopping center portfolio by focusing on major cities in Scandinavia.

The opening at Bruuns Galleri in Aarhus is the sixteenth in a row for OneFone, which aims to become the leading smartphone repair chain in Denmark. Bruuns Galleri's srtategically location next to the train station was of importance for the establishment.

Yasmine Tea is a pop-up with ambitions to be part of Field's permanent store mix in the future. The tea shop complements Field's other store offerings and adds something new specializing in tea and confectionery such as chocolate, marzipan, etc. "When I was looking for a place to establish my pop-up store, I favored a good location in a local shopping center with many visitors. I got all this in Field's. The location is good, close to the entrance at the train station and cinema It was also important that we added something to Fields' retail mix. I hope many visitors will discover us", says Annika Barakat, owner.

Steen & Strøm is the proud owner of three of the 25 shopping centers selected as finalists for Denmark's Best Awards in Denmark’s Best Shopping Center in the cathegory Best Shopping Experience Storcenter. It is Field's in Copenhagen, Bruuns Galleri in Aarhus and Bryggen in Vejle. People from all over Denmark have submitted nominations in 15 different categories, and a strong jury has validated and verified the centers.

We are of course proud that H&M, which has been in Oslo City for over 30 years, chose to open one of their two H&M Beauty flagship concept stores here, but also that they believe in us and invested further in the newly renovated store of a total of 3,500 sqm which is now opened”, says Elisabeth Lohk, Center Manager at Oslo City.

NRK, Norway's public service radio and television company, took over the former Økern Center with 2023 edition of P3 Gull on November 24th.

For the past month, Oslo residents have been enjoying a wide range of Argentinian empanadas. And many have indeed done so! According to the owner of Empanada Time, sales in October were really good, but the most important reflection is the positive feedback from customers which is promising for the future since empanada is a novelty for many!

When the owners of the SMYCKA store in Kumla wanted to expand to reach more and new customers, they chose to open a store at Marieberg Galleria in Örebro with 4 million visitors annually. The response since the opening in April has been very good.Their totalt offer which als includes goldsmith expertise and repair studio meet the hopes of the vistors to the mall.

Through a collaboration between Steen & Strøm and United International Pictures, young visitors to our shopping centers, including Emporia, Allum, Marieberg Galleria, Kupolen, Field’s, Bryggen, Bruuns Galleri, Metro, and Oslo City, were invited to an exciting treasury hunt and a chance to win tickets to the movie "Paw Patrol – The Mighty Movie” and a Paw Patrol kit. The collaboration has been a great success with a lot of kids participating in the treasury hunt and many who came to meet the Paw Patrol puppies with super power.

Steen & Strøm owns three shopping centers in Denmark, including Field's in Copenhagen, and is a partner in Energy Leap, which is a partnership between real estate companies and organizations in Copenhagen that work together to reduce energy consumption in each partner's properties.

Allum's ReFashion was a pilot project to raise awareness of the reuse of fashion clothing and accessories was popular with many customers and sellers.

The Danish family-owned jewelry company Pilgrim, with over 40 years of experience, chose Emporia because of its many visitors, the closeness to the Copenhagen area and the offered store location. Pilgrim - a very warm welcome to our shopping center in expansive Hyllie area in Malmö.

Lantan has provided the part of the Swedish market that appreciates timeless fashion with exciting products and brands such as Primeboots, RM Williams, Hunter, Wiggys, Petroff, Mackage, Parajumpers, Superga and Havaianas since 1990. Their main store, which is open on weekends is now complemented by pop-up stores at Galleria Boulevard and Emporia. And we are very pleased to welcome them to our southernmost shopping centers!

The latest shopping center survey Swedish Shopping Centers from HUI and NCSC's presentation in October "Shopping centers are the engine of retail growth", shows that shopping center commerce is driving the retail sector forward and that sales are back at pre-pandemic levels.

We're proud to announce that MFF has chosen to establish its second Malmö store at Emporia and give them a warm welcome. We have over 7.5 million visitors annually, roughly equal numbers of men and women. Half of them are aged 25-59 and about half are families with children. It is our hope that those of Emporia's customers who haven't discovered MFF Shopen will do it while MFF's supporters will take the opportunity to visit Emporia.

Normal has now opened a wonderful 360 sqm. store in Bryggen. "We have seen a potential to add another store in Vejle. Bryggen has been an obvious option due to its good mix of strong brands and good parking conditions, says Christian Bjerregaard Leonhard", Expansion Director at Normal.

We are exciting to welcome Barney's, who unveiled its second store in the vibrant Malmö area. The decision to open Barney's popup at Emporia was not made lightly. Emporia, a premier shopping destination, boasts a remarkable annual footfall of over 7 million visitors. What's more, it's situated in the heart of the Öresund region. This catchment area is home to over four million residents, including a substantial number of Danish customers.

Malmö-based company Akụkọ's pop-up store Afro Urban Popup, opened at Emporia in November 2021. Now, the pop-up has transformed into a permanent store spanning 166 square meters. We are delighted about Oslo City's great cooperation with partner Vålerenga. Together they kicked-off the season debut for Norwegian top football at Oslo City the other week with competitions inside the shopping center and outside. "An indoor center, with interesting shops, and lots of people - is a good combination to increase visibility”, says Erik Espeseth, General Manager of Vålerenga. With over 40,000 visitors at Oslo City on Saturdays, it was a fantastic match with an Oslo City "take over" before the football league starts.

Three of our Swedish shopping centers, Marieberg Galleria in Örebro, Emporia in Malmö and Kupolen in Borlänge have hosted the 2023 UF Fair (young entrepreneurship fairs).
