METRO SENTER DELIVERS STRONG PERFORMANCE

We are proud to share that Metro Senter Metro Senter delivered solid growth in 2025.

Metro Senter delivered solid growth in 2025, increasing visitor numbers by 6 percent and surpassing five million visits. For the first time, turnover also exceeded NOK 1.5 billion, supported by strategic improvements and a strengthened retail mix.

New additions such as Rusta, Stadium Outlet and Lager 157 have contributed significantly to the positive development. A new F&B concept, Metro Restaurant & Sweets just opened and n additional F&B concept, Funky Frozen, is set to open during the first quarter.

Retailers Report Strong Momentum

Gigaboks, which opened its first-ever store worldwide at Metro in 2022, continues to perform exceptionally well. “We’ve seen incredibly strong development, with over 25% turnover growth in 2025 and more than 30% at the start of 2026,” says Store Manager Maren Tjelta. She highlights that customers appreciate the assortment and the store’s suitability for large scale shopping, with strong potential for further growth.

Stadium Outlet, established at Metro in 2024, reports a similarly strong start. *“Metro was a very good choice for us,” *says Store Manager Runar Jørgensen.

He notes that both customer traffic and turnover have exceeded expectations, and the outlet concept has been met with consistently positive feedback.

Lager 157, which opened its first Norwegian and Romerike store at Metro in June 2025, has also seen results beyond expectations. “Our first six months have been above all expectations - it’s been fantastic to welcome so many new and returning customers,” says Store Manager Silje Amundsen.

Metro Senter continues to strengthen the position

“Our recent openings have expanded our offer and contributed to both higher turnover and increased footfall. Together with our retailers, we continue working to ensure that even more people discover the advantages of Metro,” says Center Manager Trygve Gimse.
