Key target areas within energy, waste and water management

Within energy management, Steen & Strøm is working proactively to reduce energy consumption and increase its share of renewable energy. For Allum the Energy Use Intensity (EUI) was reduced from 90,5 kWh/sqm in 2025 to 84,8 kWh/sqm in 2025. This corresponds to a reduction of -6,3% in 2025.
Within waste management, the goal is to achieve the highest possible degree of sorting. The goals are set individually for each country and shopping center, with a Material Recovery including Organic Waste proportion of 60% for Allum by end of 2026. The result for Allum in 2025 was 58,8%.
Within water management, the consumption at Allum increased and went from 13 054,2 m3 in 2024 to 14 757,7 m3 in 2025 which corresponds to a increase by 13% in 2025 compared to 2024.
