We are very pleased to welcome both Rusta's Norwegian head quater and later also the new store to Metro Senter. Rusta's establishment is important for creating a differentiated range of retailers in our ongoing profiling as a shopping center that covers all your everyday needs.

We made the decision to open the office at Metro Senter to have sufficient space for Rusta’s local office in the future, as the company continues our Norwegian expansion. The premises are also of such a size that we can organize internal meetings on site. In addition, it will be close to one of our department stores when we open at Metro Senter in the autumn, says Erlend Kramer, General Manager Rusta Retail AS and Country Manager Norway.

Rusta, with close to 50 department stores in Norway, will open another store in Lørenskog and in Metro Senter. The opening is planned for the fourth quarter of 2024. The department store will be over 2,000 m2 and will be in Plan 1 with a good location and unique accessibility.

Metro has a particularly good location and accessibility. With 1,250 parking spaces and up to three hours free parking. Many entrances and easy access from RV159/Solheimsvegen make the center the efficient choice for customers in their everyday lives. The nearby bus terminal in Lørenskog, Lørenskog Hus and the municipality’s major schools all contribute to the center’s popularity - with around 5 million visitors annually.
