Life has been in Oslo City for 20 years, and a few weeks ago they moved to a larger store. The collaboration between Life and Steen & Strøm has been close and very positive. Together we have found the best opportunities to create an as appealing Life store as possible.

We have wanted to expand in Oslo City for a long time, and we are incredibly happy that we have now been given the opportunity. The expansion means a wider product range, increased visibility and a store that is easy to find on the ground floor, says Line Haugslien, Regional Manager at Life.

Life’s new store concept means better product exposure and an inspirational store structure with distinct product categories.

With the new store layout, we can work with and showcase the products in a completely different way, with greater variety. There is also room for new product groups. We receive very positive feedback every day from customers who find the new layout very attractive, continues Line Haugslien.

Line Haugslien continues: We believe that everyone involved in the project at Steen & Strøm has done their utmost to achieve this. We worked with tight deadlines to minimize the time the store was closed. It was an extensive remodeling where two premises had to be merged, everything had to be demolished and rebuilt. We had several meetings on site with the parties involved, which was very good. We were able to agree on the best solution and make quick decisions.

We are delighted to be able to offer Life a larger unit. One of our common goals was to minimize the rebuilding time and the duration of the store’s closure, and I think we’ve succeeded in that.
