
LEKIA EXPANDS AND ELEVATES THE RETAIL EXPERIENCE AT EMPORIA

LEKIA has completed a significant refurbishment and expansion at Emporia, introducing an elevated store concept with a clear focus on inspiration, quality and customer experience. The store now comprises more than 930 sqm, with over 800 sqm dedicated to retail space.
“We’re seeing very positive customer response, especially regarding the broader assortment and the overall store experience,” says Simon Hammarström, Establishment Manager,LEKIA Emporia.
The ambition is to deliver one of the strongest toy assortments in Sweden within a shopping center environment - combining breadth, depth and a curated offer that appeals to today’s customer. The investment also includes an increased focus on in-store activations, further strengthening LEKIA’s role as a key experiential destination at Emporia.

The upgraded store introduces a series of refined and expanded departments. The LEGO assortment now forms a dedicated shop-in-shop and ranks among the largest LEGO retail environments in a Swedish shopping center. New Barbie and baby departments have also been added, with an extended range within baby that includes clothing, toys and soft goods.
The space dedicated to board games and puzzles has doubled, and together with an enhanced layout, the store delivers improved merchandising and a more seamless, intuitive customer journey.
