ALLUM CELEBRATED 20 YEARS WITH STRONG RETAILER AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Allum’s 20 year anniversary celebration, became a major success and a strong example of how shopping centers can create value for both the local community and their retailers.

On the day of the celebration, Allum welcomed more than 19,000 visitors, representing an increase of over 23 per cent compared to the corresponding Saturday in March last year. In addition to high footfall, most retailers reported strong results, with several stores achieving record sales.

The anniversary was designed as an Allum style “Black Friday”, focusing on attractive offers, in store activities, goodie bags and a lively atmosphere throughout the center. The retail experience was complemented by a wide range of family friendly events, including face painting, a LEGO activity, goal shooting and member recruitment activities.

A highlight of the day was a 20 metre long anniversary cake, where visitors could enjoy coffee and cake for SEK 20. In total, more than SEK 13,000 was raised through the cake sale and donated to Barncancerfonden in collaboration with Team Rynkeby Göteborg, underlining Allum’s commitment to giving back to the local community.

Allum’s 20 year celebration demonstrates how retail destinations can act as vibrant community hubs – driving commercial success while at the same time supporting social responsibility and local engagement.
