Klépierre, the majority owner of Steen & Strøm, has once again been recognized as one of the real estate industry's top performers in sustainability. In the 2026 Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), the Group ranked:
#1 among listed retail real estate companies in Europe (its benchmark category) #1 among all listed real estate companies in Europe, across all asset classes #2 among listed retail real estate companies worldwide #3 among European real estate companies.
With a score of 95.5/100, Klépierre also achieved its highest GRESB score to date.
This recognition reflects the day-to-day efforts of teams across all the Group’s shopping centers and highlights the steady progress made in recent years. Reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, increasing renewable energy production, adapting assets to heat waves through innovative solutions, and improving waste sorting and recovery are just some of the concrete actions helping to strengthen the environmental performance of our shopping centers.
