H&M WELCOMES CUSTOMERS BACK TO A NEWLY RENOVATED AND UPGRADED FOUR-STOREY STORE AT OSLO CITY

“Cosmetics are big in Oslo City and among our 11 million visitors a year. We are of course proud that H&M, which has been in Oslo City for over 30 years, chose to open one of their two H&M Beauty flagship concept stores here, but also that they believe in us and invested further in the newly renovated store of a total of 3,500 sqm which is now opened”, says Elisabeth Lohk, Center Manager at Oslo City.

All four floors have now been renovated and updated, and the well-known minimalistic style has been replaced with a warm and inviting look with rustic elements including a brand-new staircase between the first and second floors that ties all the floors together and creates a holistic, fantastic shopping experience for customers. The façade surrounding the store has been changed from walls to glass to create a lighter and even better atmosphere.

According to Therese Gunnarsson, Expansion Manager H&M Northern Europe, the physical stores are the core of H&M’s customer offering and investment in them will continue.

We are constantly upgrading our stores and making sure they are optimally located. This has always been the key to our success. We now invite new and old customers to a “new” and improved H&M store in Oslo City Centre. The store is and will be a place for social interaction, where customers can be inspired and experience a more personalized customer service. H&M opened at Oslo City in 1992, and we look forward to many more years in the shopping center, concludes Therese Gunnarsson.
