THE ANNUAL KLOVNELØB AT BRYGGEN – RUNNING FOR A CAUSE
At Steen & Strøm, we believe in creating meaningful moments that go beyond shopping. One such moment was this year’s Klovneløb at Bryggen in Vejle – a joyful charity run where everyone, big or small, could take part.
This was the fourth time the event was hosted at Bryggen. It wasn’t about being the fastest – it was about making a difference. Even the smallest step can bring hope and strength to children facing illness in hospitals.
Bryggen hosted the run in collaboration with Danske Hospitalsklovne (Danish Hospital Clowns), who bring courage, smiles, and a sense of normalcy to hospitalized children. It was a fantastic day, with DGI Huset Vejle leading the warm-up together with the Hospital Clown Båt. A record-breaking 150 runners signed up – and their participation fees went directly toward spreading joy to children in hospitals and supporting their families.
We are very proud of this initiative and thrilled that so many people wanted to support such a great cause. “It’s heartwarming to see our community come together like this – full of energy, smiles, and a shared purpose. We’re proud to host events that truly make a difference,” says Louise Sage Monrad, Shopping Center Assistant at Bryggen.
