BACKSTUBE HAS OPENED ANOTHER UNIT IN OSLO CITY

Backstube's bakeries and cafés are in prime locations and have now opened another unit in Oslo City, this time just outside the entrance (U1) of Vaterland Passage, a public transport hub in Oslo.

Backstube is a Norwegian bakery concept offering a wide range of European bakery products such as bread, rolls, focaccia, pretzels, baguettes, cakes, coffee, and fresh organic juice for you on the go or to take home.

We are thrilled that Backstube, who has been in Oslo City since 2017, has chosen to open another unit with us. The location in Vaterland Passasjen where people often are busy on their way to and from work taking the subway, bus or train or commute is perfect. Morning Coffee, fresh bakery, or a baguette on the run is for a lot of people a good service. And already we have good feedback from customers that says it lighten up the area and it smells good from freshly baked products, says Elisabeth Lohk, Center Manager at Oslo City.

Backstube’s first bakery branch opened in 2016 in Oslo and in total it has now established more than 30 bakeries across Norway - both in major cities such as Oslo and Bergen and in smaller towns from the Oslo area to Tromsø.

The company was acquired by Jordanes 2023, a Scandinavian consumer champion with more than 20 own brands, united by more than 2 400 passionate employees.
