SUSHI YAMA EXPANDS AT KUPOLEN WITH NEW LOCATION AND SUNNY OUTDOOR PATIO

We are happy to share that Sushi Yama has officially opened its new location at Kupolen, featuring the latest concept along with a sunny outdoor seating area.

“A total of 128 seats are available, enhancing the dining experience for visitors. The expansion includes two to three new employees, with plans for a serving permit, says Johannes Örnemark, CEO of Sushi Yama.

“We are thrilled to offer Sushi Yama a new location near Entrance 1, allowing for a south-facing outdoor seating area. This is a fantastic addition for Kupolen’s visitors and for Borlänge,” says Jenny Madi Ensgård, Center Manager at Kupolen.

The new location is designed to attract even more local customers with a broader menu and improved facilities for both take-away and dine-in service. Sushi Yama plans to secure a serving permit, enabling guests to enjoy a glass of wine with their sushi or a cold beer in the sun. A wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages is also available, along with the launch of Boba Yama, promised to be this summer’s must-try refreshment.

“We have already been successful at Kupolen, and this new establishment strengthens our presence even further. We’ve upgraded everything to the latest concept — clean Nordic design, cozier seating, and a unique atmosphere that needs to be experienced. The outdoor area is the most inviting oasis at Kupolen, with sun most of the day, along with awnings and parasols for shade during warmer days,” Örnemark concludes, promising that it will be Sushi Yama’s most appealing outdoor seating if all permits go as planned.

Sushi Yama now offers 62 seats indoors and an additional 66 on the 90-square-meter outdoor terrace.
