Management Team

Christian Brewaeys has a strong track record with more than 20 years of experience in various positions in international commercial real estate including URW, Patrizia Asset Management and Head of Retail at CPH Airport. Christian is a visionary and strategic leader, who is passionate about supporting the business through a clear operational vision while strengthening Steen & Strøm's operational excellence at all levels of the organization.

Christian joined Steen & Strøm in 2017 and was appointed CEO in September 2023.

Kasper Bendixen brings a solid background in financial leadership and strategic advisory. He spent 7 years with Deloitte Consulting, advising a wide range of organizations on financial transformation, organizational excellence and operational efficiency. He subsequently served as CFO of an IT consulting company for 3 years, where he played a key role in shaping financial strategy, supporting business expansion, and strengthening operational excellence. Kasper combines a strong consulting foundation with hands-on CFO experience across industries.

Kasper joined Steen & Strøm as CFO in May 2025.

Nils Eivind Risvand holds a Master of Law degree from University of Oslo. He started his career at the law firm Wiersholm, and has been at Steen & Strøm since 2000.

Bjørn Tjaum has an MBA/MSc in Economics degree from Norwegian School of Management (BI). He started his career as a Research Assistant, before occupying various positions in Nordea Bank. He joined Steen & Strøm in 1997.

Johan Forsgren has been with Steen & Strøm since 2005 in various positions. Before joining the management team as Head of Operations, Johan was a regional center manager based in Emporia, Malmø. He has extensive experience managing shopping centers and has been involved in all aspects of overseeing both technical, commercial and administrative tasks making Johan an extremely experienced resource within Shopping Center Operations.

Astrid Damgaard has more than 10 years of leasing experience from DEAS A/S and as Leasing Manager and Portfolio Manager at Steen & Strøm Scandinavia. Astrid joined Steen & Strøm in 2019.

Gregory Michalak has more than 15 years of international experience in finance and real estate, including 10 years with Mercedes-Benz before joining Klépierre in 2021. His track record within the Group combines a broad perspective on the business with a deep understanding of its portfolio and strategic priorities across Europe.

Gregory will join Steen & Strøm in September 2026 as Head of Asset Management & Investments, bringing this experience to drive the performance and long-term development of the Scandinavian portfolio.

Stine Rysgaard has 13 years of experience within marketing and communication. She has a background as Head of Marketing & Communication at Bakken amusement park. She spent 4 years as Marketing Manager in Field’s SC before joining Steen & Strøm’s management team in 2022.

Jessica Kvarnhammar has been working since 2003 within HR and since 2014 she has occupied HR-managers roles in different industries. She joined Steen & Ström in 2023.
