Winter break activities for Vejle’s residents of all ages
Every winter break, Bryggen in Vejle hosts a week filled with engaging activities for residents of all ages – and this year was no exception.
The aim is to create meaningful experiences for everyone, from children to seniors. The long standing event continues to grow in popularity, and this year footfall increased by nearly 4%.
All activities are free and support two of Steen & Strøm’s core CSR pillars: Servicing Communities, by actively contributing to local life, and Growing People, by fostering learning.
Throughout the week, visitors enjoyed everything from face painting to a captivating snake charmer show – so popular that Bryggen had to set up barriers to manage the crowds! On Valentine’s Day, visitors were greeted with roses, a cosy and much loved tradition that brings joy to both young and old.
The week also included a highly successful makeup outlet pop up, which drew long queues into the store. Several other retailers in Bryggen made the most of the opportunity by handing out discount vouchers to visitors waiting in line.
The festivities concluded with the annual Fastelavn celebration, arranged in collaboration with BR, City Vejle, and Bryggen. This cherished tradition attracted around 350 participants. The day began with face painting at BR, followed by the classic barrel slaying game, and rounded off with delicious Fastelavn buns and juice
