Bamsehospitalet brings joy to hundreds of children
For the twelfth year in a row, the beloved Bamsehospitalet (Teddy Bear Hospital) returned to Bruuns Galleri – always a highlight for our visiting families. Children brought their teddy bears to be checked in, have their vitals examined, take X rays, and be looked after by future doctors working alongside Danske hospitalsklovne (the Danish Hospital Clowns). More than 200 children stopped by to have their cuddly friends cared for.
“We were delighted to once again welcome the Teddy Bear Hospital – an initiative we truly value, as it helps make doctor visits feel less scary for children,” says Claus Brændgaard, Regional Center Manager Bruuns Galleri.
The activity also supports one of Steen & Strøm’s core CSR pillars – Serving Communities. This pillar is all about contributing positively to the local areas where our centers operate. It means supporting initiatives that benefit families, strengthen inclusion, and create meaningful, long lasting value for the communities around us.
