Safety is our top priority across all our shopping centers. Last week, we carried out scheduled fire and evacuation drills at Emporia in Malmö and at Metro in Lørenskog – an important part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe environment for visitors, retailers, and employees.

In a large and dynamic setting like a shopping center, it’s crucial that both people and systems are prepared to respond quickly and effectively in the event of an emergency.

Regular drills help us fine tune our routines, identify improvements, and ensure that everyone knows how to act if a real incident were to occur. We’ve also included we are also sharing photos from a corresponding fire drill at Metro in Lørenskog where one scenario involved a burning car in the garage.

By practicing, we stay ready – and by staying ready, we keep our centers safe for everyone who spends time in them.
