METRO SENTER WELCOMES STADIUM OUTLET

We are delighted to announce that Stadium Outlet will open their 2nd store in the Oslo area, and their 10th Norwegian store, at Metro Senter in Lørenskog. With this establishment, the process of strengthening the profile as the preferred and easily accessible everyday shopping center with a department store concept continues.

Stadium Outlet plan to open in October.

We are very happy and proud that Stadium Outlet has chosen to open their first store in Romerike/ Oslo East with us this autumn. Our visitors have been requesting a sports store. Now we can not only fulfil their requests, but also expand and strengthen our retail mix with a new strong player in sports and sports fashion, which currently does not exist in our region. Stadium Outlet complements our offering and fits our profile, says Christopher Castberg, Regional Centre Manager Metro Senter/ Metro Storhandel.

Stadium and Stadium Outlet are combined Sweden’s largest sports and sports fashion retail chain and the transformation of the 1,200 square meter facilities on the ground floor, which will also include Nille’s former location, is now underway. Nille will remain in Metro but will move to the second floor.

With a central location in Lørenskog, we will create even better accessibility for our customers. Good infrastructure for public transport connections and plenty of parking spaces contribute to creating good accessibility and an efficient shopping experience. We believe that Metro Senter has a good retail mix, where we can also contribute with something new in the sports segment for the entire family, says Marthe Tømte, Regional Manager Norway Stadium Outlet.

The store reflects the Stadium Outlet concept and will be approximately 1,000 square meters in size.

We are a destination for the entire family with well-known international brands, but also some brands that are new to the Norwegian market. In addition to equipment and textiles, you’ll also find a huge shoe department, concludes Marthe Tømte.
